My name is Christina Lee. I’m an artist, baker and interior designer.

I grew up in the little-big town of Bakersfield in California’s Central Valley. My self-taught talents grew with help from the encouragement of my family and friends. I possess a self-driven spirit and never say die attitude, which keeps me a very busy woman…

I started painting at the age of 10, and never stopped. Once my talent was realized, my mother kept me busy painting murals around the house. I took my first commercial mural job at the age of 15 and painted 26 characters over two walls in a baby nursery. Through the years I have painted using many different styles and themes.

My proudest accomplishment in the arts community was opening and running a local gallery for three years with friends in downtown Bakersfield called The Foundry. The Foundry was a contemporary space and an artist club with over 100 artist members. Running a gallery, surrounded by so many talented people was a dream come true.

In 2015 I headed South, moving to the big city of Austin Texas. I juggled a full time commercial insurance broker job, my art, three beautiful girls and a household for 24 years. I’m happy to announce I’ve recently dropped the corporate job and refocused my career 100% to be a full time creative. My days and (more often than I care to admit) hair are now full of paint and brushes.

Thank you for visiting my site. I have many more exciting things to announce over the next 12 months. Be sure to check back for updates in my art adventures!
